Quantum horticultural products bring quality, high-intensity illumination to your garden. Quantum products have been carefully engineered to withstand the atmospheric demands of virtually any indoor gardening environment, and offer versatility, power, and reliability at a value price. For our Quantum Horticulture brand, we have analyzed the mistakes and failures made by others in their quest for digital lighting and utilized that knowledge to bring you excellence in high-intensity illumination.
A new alternative to heavy, noisy, power-wasting core and coil ballasts had reached the market: the Quantum Digital Dimmable ballast. Quantum’s research and development soon led to releases of innovative T5 fluorescent fixtures, and Quantum brand T5 fluorescent lamps. Under Hydrofarm’s careful conservancy, the future of Quantum Horticulture looks very bright indeed.
Quantum Dimmable E-ballasts
The Quantum Dimmable Ballast brings quality, efficiency, and high intensity illumination to your garden. With three power settings of 50%, 75% and 100%*, the Quantum Dimmable ballast lets you run your lamp at the strength you need. (*400W model runs at 75% and 100% only). Silent, generator-ready, efficient, and cool-running… the Quantums are very cool ballasts.
Quantum T5 Light Fixtures
Quantum T5 fluorescent fixtures use high efficiency, active electronic ballasts to power the high output T5 lamps.. They feature a shallow profile, very low heat, wider bulb spread, and high quality German glass-coated aluminum reflectors. Engineered with broader angles, these reflectors allow more light from the backside of the bulb to make it to the plants and penetrate deeper into the canopy without being obstructed by the bulb itself. This wide dispersal coupled with remarkable light intensity is what makes Quantum's T5 systems optimal for your garden.
Quantum T5 Replacement Lamps
Quantum’s High Output T5 lamps offer the best in horticultural fluorescent lighting technology. They come in both 6500K (Blue) for increased vegetative growth and 2900K (Red) for early vigor during the bloom stage. Their lamp envelopes are triphosphor-coated for color accuracy and offer 5,049 and 4,752 lumens per lamp in the Red and Blue models, respectively.
